Falun Dafa Thoroughly Reformed My Life

By a new practitioner from China

(Clearwisdom.net) In May 2006, I became acquainted with my present husband. That same day, I learned the truth about Falun Dafa and began to study the Fa. My future sister-in-law was a practitioner. She had been detained many times and her home was searched many times; however, nothing could change her belief. By her example, I witnessed a practitioner's steadfast belief in the Fa. Practitioners treated others with honesty, compassion and forbearance. I admired them very much. I gained a favorable impression of Falun Gong, and began to read Zhuan Falun. Teacher's every word awoke a part of my heart and I could not longer be without this treasured book.

Before I became a practitioner, I was deluded by the CCP's propaganda and poisoned by the staged "self-immolation" incident. I had a great misunderstanding of Falun Gong. At that time, both my ex-husband and I were unemployed and our relationship was full of conflict. He ate too much, was lazy and frequently drank until he was drunk. He would yell at me and beat me when he was the least bit unhappy. We quarreled every day. In this difficult environment, my daughter was often hurt, and she became eccentric. We led a bitter and tiring life.

In order to change my life, I went to Dezhou City with my daughter. Every day I socialized, ate, drank, and abandoned myself to a life of pleasure. I pursued mental stimulation and enjoyed the so-called modern people's lifestyle. However, I was not likable and I often frequented the bars. Consequently, my health became very poor, and I felt uncomfortable all over. I also developed cholecystitis (a painful inflammation of the gallbladder's wall), which was very painful and made me restless. I went to many Western doctors and doctors of traditional Chinese medicine. I took a lot of medicine, and spent a lot of money without any positive results. During this time, my ex-husband died and my daughter and I had no way out of despair. Later, I got re-acquainted with my present husband and my life made a turn for the better.

Under Teacher's direction I began to understand how to behave properly. I realized my past behavior had destroyed me and my family. I felt very strongly that my thoughts were so filthy that it was too late to repent. So I tried my best to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, cultivate my mind and do good deeds. I also witnessed the mighty virtue of Falun Dafa when all my diseases vanished. My mind became purer and purer. I was soon able to rid myself of bad habits and I kept far away from the bars. I was determined to turn over a new leaf.

I bought an electrically operated tricycle to taxi people. My previous acquaintances all said that I had completely changed and that it was unbelievable. I felt very proud. Falun Dafa had saved me and taught me to be a good person, and I was reformed. Although my income was low, I was steadfast in my heart, and tried hard.

Today I have a caring family. My husband's family members dote over my daughter, and they have never shown any dislike for us. All that I have has been bestowed to me by Teacher. Teacher took me out of a living hell, purged me, led me onto a bright road, and gave me a new life. My daughter learned the truth about Dafa and quit the Young Pioneers. She has become lively and loving. She placed an amulet with "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" in her stationery case.

I realized that only Falun Dafa can change people and improve their morals; only Falun Dafa can make people healthy both mentally and physically; only Falun Dafa can bring people happiness. I hereby express my gratitude to our merciful and mighty Teacher.
