Rhode Island, USA: Divine Land Marching Band Stands out at Fall's Grand Parade in Woonsocket (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 1 2008, Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to the 30th Fall's Grand Parade in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. The Falun Dafa procession was comprised of the Divine Land Marching Band and a dragon dance group. Their splendid performances won applause and cheers from thousands of spectators.

Twenty beautifully decorated floats and fifty bands participated in the parade. The Divine Land Marching Band had over one hundred members dressed in traditional Song Dynasty band costumes. They played "Falun Dafa is Great", "Fa Rectifies the Heaven and Earth", and "Drums and Trumpets Shake the World in Ten Directions". A dozen young men followed with a colorful 40 feet long dragon dancing happily in their hands.

The story published in the Woonsocket Call newspaper praised the Divine Land Marching Band as the most outstanding in the parade. It mentioned that many countries have their own Divine Land Marching Bands, including the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Taiwan and several European countries. It also said the members of the band are all Falun Dafa practitioners who follow the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
