A Farmer's Perception of Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) I would like to point out that I am a farmer and I'm not a Falun Dafa practitioner. However, I look at the world around me with open eyes and think very carefully before making a decision. Then I can distinguish right from wrong, good from bad, and kindness from evil.

Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started its persecution of Falun Dafa and its practitioners, I have been able to observe and consider my opinions on Falun Dafa. I believe that the cultivation principles of Falun Dafa educate people to be kind, honest, and compassionate. The Teacher of Falun Dafa teaches people to cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and requires people to tell the truth, do truthful things, and be tolerant and forgiving. How wonderful these principle are! I think that if all Chinese people could read Zhuan Falun without any preconceptions, if they could clearly understand and follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and sincerely practice Falun Dafa, then the moral level of society and the individual quality of our Chinese people would dramatically improve. As a result, people could enjoy good physical health and mental peace, and live in a society with no oppression, violence, deception, or cheating. Instead, we could create a society full of truth, justice, goodness, and honesty. How amazing and wonderful a place like that would be! Such a society would see a dramatic reduction in evil deeds and criminal or illegal activities. Children could grow up healthy in a sublime moral environment. Generations to come would be able to benefit from a much improved quality and standard of life.

In a just, benevolent, and honest society like this, the government would save a lot of time, energy and resources. There would be no need to waste huge financial resources to support so many police, the various different types of security agencies, or the armed forces anymore. Instead it could use it to improve education for future generations. There would be no more need for the government to advocate "anti-corruption," since all government officials would be fair, kind, and honest. Nobody would want to do bad things out of self-interest. That would be harmful to the country and its people. Nobody would want to commit crimes. Without corruption, deception, fraud, fighting amongst one another, or greed for power, the country would be at peace and tranquil. Wouldn't that be a great thing?

As I have enumerated, the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is beneficial to our country and society in numerous ways and does no harm at all.
