Columbia, Missouri, USA: Falun Gong Practitioners Take Part in the University of Missouri Homecoming Parade (Photos)
By a practitioner from Missouri
(Clearwisdom.net) In 1911, the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU) was
the first university to hold a Homecoming. This tradition has spread throughout
the world, but MU still boasts the largest student-run Homecoming activity in
the nation. On October 25, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners from Missouri
participated in the annual Homecoming Parade at MU. The parade started at 8:30 in the morning. Following the large banner that
read, "Falun Dafa", three practitioners held circular banners that
read, "Truthfulness," "Compassion" and
"Forbearance." Practitioners performed Tang style drums and
demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on the float. During the one-and-a-half-hour long parade, practitioners passed out
truth-clarifying materials to thousands of spectators.
