The CCP Brought Mr. Ma's New Life to a Premature End

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Ma Wenhe lived in the Chengdong Village of Mancheng County, Hebei Province. He was employed by the Mancheng County Farm Machinery Factory. At the beginning of 1995, he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and was hospitalized for two months. He was as thin as a skeleton, extremely weak, and ill tempered. He previously practiced other qigong, but they did not prove to be beneficial to his health. He was fortunate enough to have learned Falun Dafa and tried to be a good person by following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. After he became a practitioner, his face turned rosy and he became very healthy. He told people that Falun Gong cured his disease.

After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Gong in 1999, personnel from his employer, local police, and village officials all joined in the persecution. Once a village official and a female official from Mancheng Town tried to force him to write a guarantee statement
to stop practicing Falun Gong. They threatened him, saying, "If you refuse to cooperate now, the police will come for you soon!"

One night in the winter of 2000, village officials Wang Fuyin and Hao Hui arrived at his home to harass him until after midnight, because Mr. Ma refused to write the guarantee statement.

One summer night someone shouted his name outside his yard non-stop until he answered. A group of people were waiting behind his house and no one knows where they come from.

On the evening of February 3, 2002, local police officer Wang Qiu and several other officers stormed into Mr. Ma's home, ordering him to write a guarantee statement. He refused. They arrested him, put him in the Mancheng County Detention Center for 15 days, and extorted 300 yuan from him.

For over four years Mr. Ma was frequently harassed. He was forced to flee his home many times because of this. His employer and village officials often chased him all over the place.

The mental stress as a result of several years of persecution caused his old sickness to recur. He died on October 14, 2003.
