(Clearwisdom.net) After Learning the Truth, Police Refused to Persecute
Practitioners
With continual truth-clarification from Falun Gong practitioners, many police
officers in a city of Sichuan Province woke up after witnessing numerous other
police officers meet with karmic retribution for their crimes. With the excuse
of a low salary, they refused to go out and arrest practitioners. Seeing this
situation, higher officials immediately paid them 200 yuan each as an incentive.
However, after seeing other colleagues receive retribution, they chose not to do
as ordered. The higher officials could do nothing about it.
Police in Shijiazhuang City Are Waking up
There was massive arrest of practitioners before and during the Olympic
Games. Some police officers in a number of police stations already knew the
truth, and they decided to no longer persecute the good people who practice
Falun Gong. They protected practitioners in private, and gave them advanced
notice if their homes were about to be raided. Because of this, many
practitioners were not persecuted or suffered less.
A Policeman Who Knew the Truth About the Persecution
Practitioner Dong Mei (pseudonymn) clarified the truth to a local policeman
many times. The policeman thus knew that Falun Dafa and
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are good. Therefore, he tried to protect
practitioners.
One evening in 2001, the Wuchang Police Department sent many police to arrest
practitioners in the area. Dong Mei was on the list to be arrested. When this
policeman was asked to arrest her, he said, "Dong Mei just came back from a
detention center, and has not recovered yet. Why do we want to arrest her
now?" Dong Mei was thus not arrested that evening.
Early the next morning, around 7 o'clock, this policeman went to Dongmei's
home. He took out 200 yuan and asked Dong Mei and her husband to stay away for
several days. Dong Mei thanked him for the warning, but would not accept the
money he had so kindly offered.
By protecting Falun Gong practitioners, this policeman helped himself to have
a good future.
