Experiencing Dafa's Miracles

My name is Xiaoliang, and I am thirty years old. I live in a village in Shandong Province and make a living as a fruit vendor. Recently, something happened to me that I will never forget.

At around 2:00 p.m. on August 14, 2008, I sold all my fruit in stock and rode my tricycle home. It started to rain, followed by thunder and lightning. I was quite scared because the lightning struck very close to me. I was right in the middle of the road and had nowhere to hide. What should I do? I suddenly remembered the words of a practitioner from my village who told me that when I sincerely recited "Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good," it would bring me good luck, especially in a dangerous situation. He emphasized that I shouldn't forget the words. At that time, he also asked me to quit the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) affiliated organizations, which I did.

I recited those words while I rode my tricycle. I was suddenly struck by a lightning bolt. My body and tricycle bounced into the air together and then fell to the ground. I vomited some yellow liquid, but realized that I was still alive. Passersby were frightened and screamed when they saw what happened to me. I discovered that I wasn't the least bit hurt. Many people surrounded me and asked if I needed to go to a hospital. I let them know that I was fine. I understood in my heart that it was Falun Dafa that saved me, and I felt gratitude for Dafa. I stood up and got on my tricycle as usual, and rode home.

After sharing this experience with my wife, she cried. She said, "You need to see that villager and thank him." The next day I went to see him and told him my story. When I thanked him, he said "Don't thank me, I only told you about Dafa. If you want to thank someone, you should thank Teacher, because only Teacher can save you."

After that day, my wife and I read "Zhuan Falun" and listened to Teacher's 9-day audio lectures. We also conducted ourselves according to the standard of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. On one occasion, my wife fell asleep while she was reading Zhuan Falun. The next day, she told me that Teacher had taught her the lectures all night, and that the lectures were the same as Teacher's 9-day lectures. Teacher also told her how to cultivate her xinxing and how to be a good person.

I will tell my friends and relatives, "Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." I sincerely thank Teacher for saving my life and that of my whole family. I have two children, the youngest of which is only eight months old, so my whole family depends on me to support them. Now my life is very good and my business is doing well.

Friends, what I've shared is true, and please remember that "Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." When you say it sincerely, you will have a wonderful future and miracles will also happen to you. I have experienced this firsthand.

One day, Laochen was driving his vehicle on a mountain road. He suddenly realized that his vehicle was about to run off the road because he wasn't paying attention. There was no time to hit the brakes. At that critical moment, he remembered that one of his relatives, who is a practitioner, told him that saying some words (he had forgotten the words "Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good") could save his life when in danger. He anxiously said at that moment, "I am a member of a practitioner's family." The vehicle suddenly stopped.

After Laochen returned home, he told his fellow villagers, "Without Falun Gong, I would have been dead and my vehicle destroyed."
