Being Able to Cultivate Dafa Is Fortunate--and Serious

(Clearwisdom.net) I used to be very ill. I had the good fortune to begin cultivation in 1997, and since then, all my illnesses have disappeared. I used to suffer from protrusion of the lumbar discs, osteoporosis, arthritis, bursitis in a shoulder, chronic gastro-enteritis, tracheitis, and headaches. I became completely healthy in very short time. I thought of my older handicapped sister who lived more than a thousand miles away. She couldn't eat anything cold and had to wear hats and layers of clothes, even in summer. I decided to introduce her to Dafa cultivation. I first mailed her the books, and then went to visit her in August 1998.

My sister has a good predestined relationship with Dafa. She could sit in meditation with both legs crossed for an hour right from the beginning, and could feel Falun rotating as soon as she did the Falun Standing Stance exercise. She could hardly read, but she could read through Zhuan Falun. Master opened her third eye and purified her body in other dimensions; she quickly became illness-free. What happened to her greatly showed the wonders of Dafa. We all felt she was very lucky.

Since the onset of the persecution in July 1999, my sister's belief in Master and Dafa has not wavered. She endured tribulations, but she overcame them with Master's protection. Not long ago I suddenly wanted to visit her, but I didn't follow through right away because I had to watch my grandson at home. Then I received a phone call from my nephew. I felt the urgency and immediately went to her home.

As soon as I saw her, I knew her condition was terrible. She had a bluish face, and her mind was sometimes muddled. Talking with her I realized the evil had taken advantage of her mentality of fear. The interference became greater and greater, so that she could not study the Fa and did very few exercises. She couldn't do the three things well. Factors in other dimensions constantly interfered with her. Her hand position when sending righteous thoughts was incorrect, and she had forgotten the movements for the five sets of exercises. She constantly heard a voice that kept her from reading the book. I had an MP3 player with me so she could listen to Master's lectures. She said she felt at ease and serene listening to the lectures. I saw her body shaking, so I began sending righteous thoughts toward her and asking Master for strength. Soon she stopped shaking.

Several days later she was able to do the exercises correctly again and could enter the tranquil state while sending righteous thoughts. Studying the Fa, sending righteous thoughts, and practicing the exercises made her face turn rosy again, and her mind became clear, as if she had a personality change. Everyone in the family was happy and once again witnessed the wonders of Dafa. My sister understood the seriousness of cultivation practice, and that the evil could destroy a practitioner as soon as he or she slacked off.

My sister is exceedingly grateful for Master's merciful salvation and wanted to share her lesson with other practitioners. She couldn't write it herself, so she asked me to write the above for her.
