Be Proactive And Harmonize Holistically

(Clearwisdom.net) When it comes to cultivation, I have been studying and memorizing the Fa every day. I have also been doing the three things. But in practice, I have much disparity compared to the Fa standard; sometimes I am not aligned with the Fa at all. When I talk with other practitioners, I often speak of "holistic improvement and holistic upgrade," but I often act as I think fits in with reality.

When the practitioners in China are being persecuted, the practitioners outside China make phone calls, write letters, send faxes and emails, etc. The effort helps to lessen the persecution of practitioners in China. Practitioners in China are very grateful to Teacher and overseas practitioners.

The most unforgettable story I read on Minghui Weekly was about an overseas practitioner. She called a prison 20 to 30 times one night. When the answering officer refused to listen the first time, she called again, when the officer hung up the phone, she called again. Eventually he asked, "What do you want? Why do you keep calling?" This practitioner said, "I just want to save you." Finally the officer was convinced. He thanked Dafa and this practitioner. I was deeply moved by this article. I was so proud of this practitioner who had such compassion and determination.

In comparison, I am very ashamed of myself. For example, regarding the Divine Performing Arts Show and the obstacles with selling tickets, I did not harmonize well with the whole-body. I thought that it was a problem for overseas practitioners. Only after the Minghui Website published articles saying, "the Divine Preforming Arts Show and practitioners in China are one body and indivisible," did we think of sending forth righteous thoughts. I felt that I was so selfish. I did not follow Teacher's teaching, "holistic improvement and holistic upgrade" (Zhuan Falun) and "The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference") Digging deeper, it seems that we did not following the Fa in our actions. In fact, we were not aligned with the Fa. That is not real cultivation.

With this thought, practitioners in our Fa-study group immediately contacted other practitioners suggesting that we send forth righteous thoughts around the clock to harmonize holistically. The Divine Performing Arts Show is initiated by Teacher and is what Teacher wants. What is helping Teacher in the human world? This is. Therefore, several of us contacted fellow practitioners. All the practitioners that we found supported our suggestion a hundred percent. The word passed around. Everyone quietly doing what he/she could. Some practitioners picked the "heavy load," they chose to send forth righteous thoughts during the early morning hours and when all practitioners are doing the exercises globally. (They make it up some other time) Some practitioners picked a time for making breakfast, lunch or dinner. Some practitioners chose several half-hour slots. So far, we have three groups, one group has 48 practitioners, another with over 30 people and another with over 20 people.

Practitioners in Dalian are all determined that we will work together to cooperate whenever there is an issue with the practitioners whole-body. We should not have the notion of depending on others. We need to learn from overseas practitioners and be disciples that Teacher does not worry about.
