Germany: Three Rounds of Applause for "The Power of Awareness"

(Clearwisdom.net) We sometimes wonder when and why an audience applauds for a performance, and what message the audience is passing on to the actors when it applauds.

The Eastern costumes, dances, and songs amazed and appealed to the German audience, and for this reason they warmly applauded the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular held in Frankfurt.

One program received three separate rounds of applause. It was the "The Power of Awareness." This dance showed how people changed in the face of the persecution of Falun Gong. First, the public was afraid of the tyrannical government and kept silent, but then they became brave and stood up to support justice. Seeing the evil police with their batons being driven away by the public, the audience clapped in approval, showing that they, too, supported justice. When the big words "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" appeared on the background and everyone on stage starting to do the Falun Gong exercises, the audience clapped again, agreeing with the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." At the end of the program, when the actors sat down and many people were doing the sitting meditation on the background, the audience applauded again.
