(Clearwisdom.net) Gloria Taylor and Beverley Beresford are retired
nurses, and Beverley took Gloria to the show for her birthday. On the evening of
February 1, they came from Long Island to Radio City Music Hall to watch the
show. "This was a wonderful birthday gift," said Gloria after watching
the show. Gloria Taylor (right) and her friend Beverley
Beresford (left) watched the Chinese New Year Splendor on her birthday "Wonderful show. It was colorful, and the artistry was good. The scenery
and everything are graceful and colorful." Gloria said about the show. Beverley said, "Knowing such culture and seeing some of it in person, it
was just fantastic! I don't know much about Chinese culture. I have only been to
Japan, as my sister lives there. I learned more about [Chinese culture] by
watching the show. When you're watching it, you can just relax and learn about
it." Beverley continued, "I liked the drums and the fan dancing, and also the
program about the dream. That was fantastic. I liked those songs, and those
songs are relevant for each and every one of us. The tolerance in the lyrics
teaches you to do good, to be a good person. All of us are one, no matter what
our cultures are and where we come from." Gloria said that she liked the fan dancing the most, as well as "The
Power of Awareness," as it portrayed people standing up to protect human
rights and spiritual belief.
