(Clearwisdom.net) Invited by local government officials, the Melbourne Falun Gong Waist Drum troupe and local practitioners recently participated in a 2008 National Day parade in South Australia.

While the drum team was rehearsing before the parade, the sounds of their drums drew many people to come early to watch and listen and take pictures. A Chinese international student gave them a thumbs up and said, "You guys are great!"

The parade started at 10:00 a.m. and the Falun Gong group was the final entry. When they passed the reviewing stand, several spectators on the stage stood up and applauded emotionally.

Falun Gong has been invited to participate in the parade for the past several years, and every year the practitioners receive high praise from the spectators and the parade organizers.
