(Clearwisdom.net) "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master." (Zhuan Falun) How much effort you put into something is how much you would get out of it.

I would like to say a few words to practitioners who have not yet overcome their illness symptoms: "Do you truly believe in Master? Do you really abandon your ego? Do you really not fear death?"

Letting go of the self doesn't mean one doesn't want to live. I sincerely hope those practitioners can abandon their human notions and look for more opportunities to share experiences with other practitioners. We should be able to overcome any kind of tribulation by improving our xinxing based on the Fa. Master can help us with everything; it merely depends on our minds.

Practitioner A told a story. One day his CD burner did not work. The computer connection malfunctioned. There was no response when the power was turned on. He asked for help from Practitioner B, who knew about computers. Practitioner B checked it out and told A to replace a certain part the next day or simply to buy a new CD burner. Practitioner A believed B's assessment, because Practitioner B had the expertise. After Practitioner B left, however, A suddenly remembered to think from the standpoint of Dafa. He thought, "Anything can be corrected with the power of Dafa; this machine is not an exception." He decided to try it the next day. When he connected the CD burner to the computer there was no response. What next then? He started looking inward and sent righteous thoughts.

He couldn't calm his mind. All kinds of attachments arose. He managed to eradicate those attachments. After a while his mind became calm. He tried the connection again; it still didn't work. He mentally implored Master for help saying, "I, your disciple, have attachments, but I could not find them right away. My field must be so impure that evil is not only taking the advantage of me but is also interfering with the Fa rectification. I have the will to correct my mistakes; please let the CD burner work as usual. To buy a new one would cost another 600 or 700 yuan, and my budget is quite limited." He made the connection again, but it still didn't work. He was quite confident that Master would help him, so he didn't give up and re-tried it a dozen times. Finally, the CD burner started working again and works to this day.
