Accounts of Ongoing Persecution at the Wangcun Second Women's Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) The following persecution accounts were just received from the Wangcun Second Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province.

Weihai City Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yu Xiuhua was illegally arrested and sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in 2005. During the past two years, Ms. Yu has been severely persecuted. The guards strictly monitored her. She was not allowed to take a shower, change clothes or get enough to eat for long periods of time. Prison staff put unknown drugs into her rice soup. As a result of ongoing persecution, Ms. Yu has become very thin.

Ms. Dai Xiaoping, 47 years old, lives in Kuiwen District, Weifang City. Around November 2007, she was sent to the Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp. Over the past two month, the guards have not allowed her to take showers or change clothes. Li Aiwen, Head of the Third Division, led the persecution against Ms. Dai.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liang Hongzhi, around 40 years old, from Dunqian Village, Zhaotou Town, Weihai City, is detained in the Third Division of the labor camp. Instructor Wang Yonghong ordered people to monitor her and torment her by forcing her to stand for long periods of time. She was not allowed to sleep during this time. By January 14, 2008, Ms. Liang had stood for 20 days. Her legs were so swollen that the skin peeled.
