Taichung Councilor: "The Power of Awareness" Shows That Society Recognizes Falun Gong (Photo)

(Clearwidom.net) Taking time out of their busy schedule, Taichung City Councilor Huang Yin-chieh and his wife saw the last show by the Divine Performing Arts at National Chung Hsing University in Taichung, Taiwan, on March 12, 2008.

It was the first time Mr. Huang had seen the Chinese Spectacular and he thought it was outstanding. He was deeply touched from the very first program, "Descent of the Celestial Kings," and felt greatly encouraged by "The Risen Lotus Flower," which told of the unfair suppression of Falun Gong in Mainland China and how practitioners' strong will created risen lotuses.

Mr. Huang had high praise for "Drummers of the Tang Court" and "Victory Drums:" "The drummers combined power and beauty. They were powerful and showed great rhythm, energy, and victorious enthusiasm." He also praise the colors of the costumes and the great hosts.

"The Divine Performing Arts did a great job presenting the meaning of Chinese culture and classic dance. Chinese culture has a long history and profound meaning. Traditional culture is great!" He also commented that he thought the background brought the dances to life and that the songs sounded sacred. "The singers had great poise and their voices were penetrating."

"The Power of Awareness" deeply touched Mr. Huang because it showed the "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" of Falun Dafa. "'The Power of Awareness' shows that society recognizes Falun Gong and exposed the Communist Party's suppression of the practice. No matter what happens, as long as we can stay steadfast, Falun Dafa will take root in people's hearts. I think that is great!"
