Some Thoughts After Reading the Article "Validating the Fa from the Aspect of Finances"

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners take day to day life lightly and do not seek personal recognition or material gains. When they share experiences and thoughts with newer practitioners, they often focus on health improvement topics. Even when practitioners' thoughts regarding personal recognition and money are good, they may be reluctant to share those, to avoid discussing this attachment. But actually, I have already saved a huge amount of money on medical expenses by becoming healthy and free of illness through practice. Since reading this article, "Validating the Fa from the Aspect of Finances" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2008/3/15/95356.html), I would like to share some of my experience in this regard.

I was an engineer in a state-owned company before I began studying the Fa. I was quite depressed because I did not get along well with my manager, and my salary was not satisfactory. I suffered from different illnesses, such as a kidney stone and abnormal liver function. Due to frequent leaves, my company wanted me to retire early. Luckily, since I have studied the Fa, I truly understand that the purpose of human life is to return to one's true origin.

Because the state-owned company is somewhat undisciplined, some employees even play the stock market at work or go out to do personal things. Some even drink during the regular work hours. Especially when the manager is not around, the office is in disorder. Since I began cultivating, I have always remembered what Master teaches us. I am never absent from work. I know even if my manager is not around or watching me, the gods are watching. I also have Master watching me, too. I became a model employee. Prior to cultivation, I would usually not go to work until 8:30 a.m. Since I became a practitioner I come to work before 8:00 a.m., before the workday has started.

Because of my model behavior, although I have never been a supervisor, my manager promoted me directly to the managerial level. Within three years, my monthly salary went from 50,000 yuan to 70,000 yuan, and there is still room for growth. The higher my position, the more I earn, the more money I can spend on clarifying the truth, such as making phone calls, faxing, and utilizing the Internet. This has formed a positive cycle.

"You became healthy, which is why you have better luck now," my classmate commented while I was talking to him over the phone. I told him that it was because I practiced Falun Dafa that I have this good luck. He said, "This practice is so amazing. Where can I learn it? You need to share good things with your friends." Although I knew his purpose for wanting to learn Falun Gong is somewhat going after money and luck, I also understand that everyone has their own reasons to learn the Fa, and I shouldn't have any additional worry. There may not be too many practitioners who want to learn Dafa so they can make more money. I know the majority learned because of health reasons. Soon, I introduced him to practice site locations and gave him the Falun Dafa materials.

My current understanding is that practitioners should take everything lightly and not pursue money or fame. But this does not mean that the lives of practitioners are devoid of money or personal recognition. I have gained naturally, without pursuit. Master also asks us to be good people, no matter where we are. Your co-workers can easily tell if you are a good person by your conduct. If you are a good husband, a good father at home, only your family knows. But at work, there are job performance reviews and promotions and demotions. If we follow the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance," we will reach a certain level without pursuit. Other people will then say, "This person is so good! Why not reward him with this promotion!" It is very simple.

It is the same everywhere else. I remember an incident from several years ago when we hosted the Qi Baishi Painting Exhibition to clarify the truth. A large hotel in the south provided us with a big exhibition site. Due to the limited remaining spaces, it was natural to assume that the hotel's space-rental income would be reduced by at least one-fifth that month from providing us a free space. But the hotel owner (a non-practitioner) was willing to support Dafa and he did not mind. The interesting development showed something amazing. At the end of the accounting period for the month, the income was not less, but had unexpectedly increased substantially. This was quite strange, wasn't it? There was actually nothing strange about it. The practitioners or people who help Dafa are blessed in their daily lives, especially those who help disseminate Dafa. This also makes sense in daily life. The exhibition brought in crowds of people. More people brought in more money. It is simple on a human level, but only practitioners comprehend the true principles at higher levels.

The evildoing Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is persecuting Falun Gong in China. I have heard that some practitioners there spent over half of their income printing truth clarification materials and distribute the materials when they are off work. People willingly use their own income to do this. The disintegration of the CCP is imminent.
