Five Falun Gong Practitioners from Sichuan, Inner Mongolia Hunan, Heilongjiang and Henan Provinces Died Due to Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Cheng Fagui, who was around 53 years old, from Guanyin Village, Yangjia Town, Dongxing District, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, was illegally arrested on December 11, 2006 and sent to a forced labor camp for one year. She endured innumerable sufferings from the brutal torture. She was also force-fed with unknown drugs. Ms. Cheng was finally released on November 12, 2007, but she died soon after in 2008.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Yulan was around 58 years of age, from Yuanbaoshan District, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. Ms. Wang started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999 by Jiang Zemin's gang of scoundrels, Ms. Wang was harassed, threatened, illegally arrested, confined and forced to attend a brainwashing session. She was brutally persecuted and placed under surveillance by the local authorities. Wang Yulan was devastated by the brutal torture and persecution. Because of the pressure, she developed headaches, vomiting, dizziness and heart problems. She left the world on January 10, 2008.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Xiuying, who was around 72 years old, and from Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, started practicing Falun Gong in 1998. After beginning Falun Gong practice, her numerous acute illnesses and health problems disappeared. She visited Beijing four times to validate the innocence of Falun Gong and was illegally arrested each time, confined and tortured by the Chinese Communist Party authorities. During her last arrest, Ms. Li was vomiting blood and was later allowed to go home for medical reasons. The party members still continue persecuting her through threats, intimation and monitoring of her daily activities. Due to the long-term, high-pressure persecution, both Li Xiuying and her family members were mentally and spiritually devastated. She finally left the world on January 28, 2008.

Ms. Li Fangqin, who was around 49 years of age, was originally from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. She was a Harbin Railroad Bureau employee. Because she practiced Falun Gong, from July 20, 1999 onward, she was brutally persecuted and detained by the Harbin Railroad company as well as 610 Office agents. Under the prolonged persecution and torture, Ms. Li was injured both physically and mentally and finally succumbed to death in June 2007.

Ms. Ren Honglian was 74 years old and a former retired Grain Bureau accountant from Nanyang City, Henan Province. After the persecution of Falun Gong began, the Nanyang Municipal Public Security Bureau, in conspiracy with the City Grain Bureau, illegally conducted a brainwashing session and used illegal imprisonment, attempting to force Ms. Ren Honglian and other Falun Gong practitioners to abandon their beliefs. The persecution caused Ren Honglian's earlier illness to relapse. She was hospitalized and passed away on New Year's Day 2008.
