(Clearwisdom.net) There are those who may think that, because the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is holding the Olympic Games, the human rights situation and social conflicts in China will improve, thereby quelling the international community's criticism of its human rights violations. Those who understand the true nature of the CCP do not think this way.

On February 19 of this year, the CCP, in the name of the Central Political and Judiciary Committee, issued a secret document titled "With Regard to Protecting the Social Stability and Ensuring the Safety of the Beijing Olympic Games" that was distributed to 40 provincial Political and Judiciary Committees as well as all provincial "Offices for the Handling of Evil Cult Issues" (that is, the "610 Offices," which were especially established to oversee the persecution of Falun Gong) throughout China. In this document, the CCP particularly emphasized "taking strict precautions and striking hard against Falun Gong."

The CCP has neither mitigated nor ceased its persecution of Falun Gong because it is about to hold the "Olympics." It has, instead, used this top-to-bottom secret order to justify being even tougher in its persecution of Falun Gong.

It is this vicious policy of "taking strict precautions and striking hard" that has been directly responsible for the large numbers of recent arrests and deaths of Falun Gong practitioners throughout China.

For example, practitioner Zhang Zhijun from Nanchong City in Sichuan Province died on February 23 because he had been tortured in Xi'an Prison. His entire face was severely swollen and his neck was purple and blue. The guards hurriedly cremated his body the next day. On March 3, practitioner Chen Baofeng from Chaoyang City in Liaoning Province was illegally arrested and taken to the First Detention Center in Chaoyang City, where he was tortured to death that same evening. The regime ordered the police to agree on the same story about this death, claiming that Chen had died of a sudden heart attack. Yet Chen's family members have not, to this day, been allowed to see his body. On February 24, practitioner Zong Xiuxia from Weifang City in Shandong Province was arrested and taken to Guangwen Police Station of the Kuiwen District Police Department, where she died four hours later. On February 27, practitioner Wang Guiming from Tonghua City in Jilin Province was taken to Chaoyangguo Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City by the police from Xinzhan Police Station in Tonghua City. He died two days later. On March 1, practitioner Gu Jianmin from Shanghai was arrested by Yangjing Police Station officers in the Pudong District, Shanghai, and was tortured to death on March 13. On March 3, practitioner Sun Guanzhou from Yuzhou City, Henan Province, was arrested by Domestic Security Division officers and taken to the city detention center, where he lost his life seven days later.

The CCP continues to arrest and cause the deaths Falun Gong practitioners without following any due process of law. What's worse, these policies are carried out in the name of the Olympics, which has become both an excuse and an opportunity for the CCP to aggravate the persecution of Falun Gong.

This is the real CCP, evil to the core. The CCP will never correct, let alone acknowledge, its crimes.

The verified number of Falun Gong practitioners who have been killed by the Communist regime since the persecution started exceeds 3,000. The number of deaths that are unverified--including those whose organs were harvested while they were still alive--is countless.

Practitioners have been abducted and their houses ransacked; they have been forced to leave home to avoid further persecution, their families broken up and their children forbidden to go to school. Public sentiment has been turned against Falun Gong by the CCP's vast propaganda machine, which attempts to demonize Falun Gong to somehow "justify" the persecution in the minds of the public, much as Hitler did in the Holocaust.

Cases of persecution number in the hundreds of millions! All of this is rooted in the evil nature of the CCP, which is itself what the CCP has been trying very hard to cover up.

As the "secret document" mentioned above stressed, the Communist regime wants to "strengthen the management of overseas reporters who come to China to report on the Olympic Games" and "strengthen the administrative management of the use of the Internet and cell phone text messages." All these strategies, in simple words, mean that it wants to cover up and prevent dissemination of the true situation in China. The CCP fears nothing more than truth itself.

The CCP's crimes are rooted in its evil nature. The CCP has actually called itself a "ghost." While it represents itself as a political party, it is not a political party in the normal sense. It runs counter to heaven, earth, tradition, and mankind. No one should depend on it to improve the human rights situation in China. No one should fantasize that it will forgo its evil deeds and one day do good deeds. Its evil nature insures that it will commit crimes without even bothering to cover them up.

The current situation in China is as follows: The CCP is aggravating the persecution of Falun Gong and thereby killing innocent people. This happens despite world pleas for China to improve human rights.

In fact, as early as 2005, Liu Jing, the Deputy Head of the CCP's Ministry of Public Security, openly indicated that the CCP would terminate Falun Gong before the start of the Olympic Games. In March 2007, Zhou Yongkang, the former Head of the Ministry of Public Security (now the Secretary of the Central Political and Judicial Committee), issued an order to its subordinate branches to "strike hard against Falun Gong," which has caused the escalation of the persecution of Falun Gong.

Unfortunately, expecting the CCP to treat the Chinese people fairly is nothing short of wishful thinking. The nature of the CCP is evil, and as such, it can do nothing other than evil.

There can be no significant improvement in human rights for the people of China as long as the CCP continues in power.
