Western Australia: Introducing Falun Dafa at the Harvey Festival (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners from Western Australia learned about the Harvey Festival from the internet. They decided to take this chance to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.

However, the organizers of the festival did not get practitioners' initial application. So, when the practitioners inquired again, the organizers arranged a booth for them outside of the park. At the festival, practitioners found that their booth was right next to the entrance of the park and everyone had to pass by. Also, practitioners had a large space to pass out flyers and demonstrate the exercises.

Explaining the facts of the persecution

Many people said that they knew about the persecution of Falun Gong. One student told practitioners that one of his teachers showed a video about organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. So he readily signed the petition, calling for help to stop the persecution.

Many citizens accepted truth-clarifying materials. The paper lotus flowers made by practitioners were very popular. Many people agreed with the words on it: "The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."
