Ms. Ding Fengge Tortured in Puyang City, Henan Province, No Further Details Available


(Clearwisdom.net) On December 18, 2007, Ms. Ding Fengge was arrested while clarifying the truth and detained at the Beihuan Detention Center. In order to receive a reward, the police tortured her to obtain information about the source of the truth clarification materials. She was tortured with an electric baton and her fingers were pinched with a pair of pliers. She had steadfast faith in Dafa and did not say anything. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor.

On January 12, 2008, Ms. Ding was taken to Puyang City Forensic Hospital. Five hours later, she was secretly taken to Henan Province Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shibalihe Town, Zhengzhou City. Her family members were concerned about her and went to the camp to see her many times, but were refused a visit. They were told, "Ding Fengge does not want to see anyone because she is afraid her family will try to talk to her about her practice."

While she was in the detention center, someone reported that she was tortured until she became disabled. The police had some kind of secrete to hide, because the location of Ms. Ding's kidney is in question. Some say that it was removed in Puyang City Forensic Hospital. Because she was in recovery it was difficult to get any information. Currently, there is no information as to whether she is even still alive. We call on the international media to investigate the truth of the situation regarding Ms. Ding.

Ms. Ding Fengge, 58, is a resident of the Dengfeng Neighborhood in Puyang City. Before she practiced Falun Gong, she had several chronic life threatening diseases, including breast cancer, Hepatitis B, severe heart disease, and diabetes. She was unable to care for herself. The family spent all of their life savings to pay for her treatment, but she did not recover. In 1996, she was introduced to Falun Gong by a friend and began to practice. Within a month her health showed obvious improvement. Three months later, all of her illness symptoms had disappeared, and all her laboratory tests were normal. For many years, she was very healthy and looked ten years younger than her actual age.
