Four Falun Gong Practitioners From Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Sent to Labor Camps

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Yang Li, a practitioner from Urumqi City, was arrested and her home was ransacked by police. She was sentenced to prison recently. She is being detained in Liudaowan Detention Center and is in the process of appealing her sentence.

Ms. Luo Chunxian, a 71-year-old practitioner from Urumqi City, has been sentenced to four years in prison. Her 73-year-old husband is very ill and now has to try and care for himself. He is struggling.

Mr. Hu Dingyuan, a 35-year-old practitioner from Urumqi City, was just released from prison, where he had been held for practicing Falun Gong. The police came and ransacked his house soon after he got home. The police found a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, so Mr. Hu Dingyuan has been sentenced to one and a half years in a labor camp for possessing the book.

Mr. Yang Lei, a dedicated, kindhearted doctor and Falun Gong practitioner from Urumqi City, has also been sentenced to forced labor for one and a half years for browsing the Minghui/Clearwisdom website at his home.
