Ms. Xu Yufeng of Renqiu City Developed Lung Cancer as Result of Detention and Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Xu Yufeng is a 68-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner who worked at the Huabei Petroleum Comprehensive 10^th Section. She became physically and mentally healthy after beginning to cultivate. She left her many illnesses behind.

The police arrested Ms. Xu on October 15, 2007. She was illegally detained in the Jizhong Police Station for six months. During that time, she was physically and mentally abused by members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). This abuse left her spitting blood many times. She was hospitalized four times due to the abuse, and diagnosed with lung cancer. Again in police custody and secretly tried, her family was not informed. Although she was very weak, the police kept her in handcuffs.

Her family requested her release many times through the Jizhong Police Station, Bohai Police Station, National Security Brigade and 610 Office. Not only was she not released, but they concealed her serious health problems. Her family was ordered to pick her up only when she was near death. Ms. Xu continued spitting blood at home, but the authorities claimed it was only water accumulated in her lungs upon her release.

Fifteen-thousand yuan was demanded from her family by the CCP members for her release, but the family refused to pay.
