Mr. Yin Libin Sentenced to Three Years in Prison in Dalian City, Liaoning Province

On February 22, 2008, the Xigang District Court in Dalian City sentenced Mr. Yin Libin to three years in prison. Mr. Yin and his family appealed the ruling. This is the second time the Court has held a trial against Mr. Yin. During the first trial, his family was not notified nor was he allowed to hire a lawyer. Mr. Yin wrote two letters two years ago telling his friends how the Communist party had slandered Falun Gong, that the persecution is a mistake, and that Falun Gong cultivators are trying to be the good people by following "Truthfulness- Compassion- Forbearance." The two letters were "evidence" in the sentencing.
