Personnel from the Pingfang District 610 Office and from the Domestic Security Division in Harbin City arrested two practitioners on November 17, 2007. They were 35-year-old Mr. Liu Pengfei and 43-year-old Ms. Li Chunjuan. Police confiscated a computer, a printer, and a certain amount of cash.

Mr. Liu is currently being held at the district's detention center, and Ms. Li is being held in the Harbin City Detention Center. They have been held nearly five months, in complete violation of the Chinese constitution. Pingfang District Procuratorate agents plan to submit the two practitioners' cases to the district's court towards the end of April. The two families have hired a lawyer to defend for them.

Ms. Liang Hongzhi was held in the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in January 2008. Guards made her stand for 24 hours and deprived of her sleep when she refused to give up Falun Gong. Her legs swelled. Later on, guards put her in a dark cell and then transferred her into a restroom for further persecution. She is somewhat mentally disoriented.

Ms. Chu Yingling was forbidden to use the restroom and had to soil herself. She was severely tortured and mentally tormented. Guards put her in shackles and placed her in a small compartment.

More than 20 officers from the Yuhu Police Station's Domestic Security Division broke into 70-year-old Mr. Zhang Songjie's home and arrested him at 9:00 p.m. on March 28, 2008. They confiscated a computer, some Dafa books, and 10,000 yuan. Police informed Mr. Zhang's son three days after his arrest.

Fangzheng County Domestic Security Division and Daluomi Police Station Kang Kai broke into Mr. Yu Lianhe's home at 9:00 a.m. on March 18, 2008. They beat him and arrested him. Ms. Yu is currently being held in the Fangzheng County Detention Center.

Mr. Yu had been arrested several times and sentenced to forced labor twice since July 20, 1999. Guards brutally tortured him in the forced labor camps. Police often harassed him even after he was released.

Ms. Xu Zhixin and Ms. Zheng Guiqin are employees from the Tianjin Ironworks Factory in She County. Police arrested them and ransacked their homes in the factory. The two are currently being held in the county's detention center.

Police took Ms. Chang Ping from Baoqing County to a mental hospital against her will on April 4, 2008, but the hospital officials refused to admit her. Personnel from the county police department and from the 610 Office attempted to arrest Ms. Chang at her home, but failed.

Ms. Xiang Lijie from Liaoyuan City is being held in the Second Group at the Heizuizi Women's Prison Education Division. Her face is swollen, and one of her arms has been injured. The guards ordered Ms. Xiang's family to pay 2,000 yuan for medical treatment.

Personnel from the Liaoyuan City Police Department, from the 610 Office, and from the Domestic Security Division have harassed practitioners since January 2008. Ms. Guo Enying is being held at a detention center, and several practitioners have been put in forced labor camps. Huanglou Town Police Station Chief Li Changjiang in Weifang City went to Ms. Ji Xiaohua's home in Pan Village, Huanglou Town, the afternoon of March 10, 2008. He arrested Ms. Ji and put her in the Qingzhou Detention Center.

Personnel from the Qingzhou Police Department Anti-Falun Gong Section arrested Mr. Gong Jiankui from Chijiazhuang Village on April 1, 2008. They beat Mr. Gong and his son ruthlessly. The son was also arrested. In addition, these lawless officers also arrested Ms. Ji Guixiang, Ms. Pan Xiumei, Ms. Zhao Xiuhua, and Mr. Gong Liyuan.

Police from Guiyang City recently arrested Mr. Xu Qihua, Mr. Jia Li'an, and Mr. Li Donghong. They had planned to sentence the practitioners on March 28 and April 1, 2008, but failed. The city court agents now plan to hold a trial on April 10, 2008.

Some persecutors ransacked Mr. Xu Jie's home in Beimozhuang Village, Jiuzhai Township, Mengyin County, on the afternoon of March 28, 2008. The lawless officers included Jiuzhai Township 610 Office Head Ju Peng and personnel from the township police station and from the Mengyi County 610 Office. They went to Mr. Xu's home again and arrested Mr. Xu and his wife, Ms. Li Xueyun, on the morning of April 7, 2008. Where the two are being detained is unknown.

Ms. Jia Lina, 68, from Shenyang City explained the facts about Falun Gong to a few middle school students in the Lingkong Area on November 5, 2007. A student called police and personnel from the Lingkong Police Station arrested her and ransacked her home. Ms. Jia was put in the Zaohua Detention Center and then sentenced to three years in prison. She is currently being held in the Liaoning Province Prison Complex.

Personnel from the Xipeng Town Police Station arrested 67-year-old Mr. Zhu Defu from Tongguanyi Town, the Jiulongpo District, Chongqing City, on January 18, 2008. Mr. Zhu has been put in Xishanping Forced Labor Camp.

Personnel from the Yingmenkou Police Station and from the Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Liu Yingxu on November 15, 2007. He has been held in the Xinjin Brainwashing Center and been on a hunger strike.

Another practitioner, Mr. Wang, has been held there for nearly a year.

Personnel from the Liusuo Township Police Station arrested Ms. He Chaofen and Ms. Zhou Lianmei from Dechang County, Liangshan State, on March 29, 2008. They put the two in the county's detention center. It is heard that the two elder practitioners are on a hunger strike.

Ms. Xiang Ying from Jinzhou City is staging a hunger strike in the Jinzhou City Detention Center. She is in perilous condition and has been force-fed three times in the city's Police Hospital.

Ms. Liang Yuli, 55 years old, is a retired worker from the Xi'an City Watch Component Factory. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor in 2000. Shortly after her release, Ms. Liang was arrested again and sentenced to five years in prison, with five months extended incarceration period in a brainwashing center.

Ms. Liang took a train to see her daughter in Dalian City on February 25, 2008. She explained the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong on the train and was arrested. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Liang is currently being held in the Yanta District Detention Center.

Ms. Xu Yanling held in the Nanshan Detention Center in Shulan City was brutally tortured, and as a result, her heart disease recurred.

When Ms. Zhong Xiaoling and her mother shopped in a market, they paid with yuan bills that had Falun Gong truth clarification messages printed on them. The happened the morning of April 8, 2008. Personnel from the Xiangzhou District Police Department arrested Ms. Zhong and ransacked her home at noon that day.

Two practitioners were arrested on April 5, 2008, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong in Yangling Town. They are currently being held in the Yingcheng City No.2 Detention Center.

Personnel from the Zunhua City Domestic Security Division and from the 610 Office colluded with Xixiaying Township Party Secretary surnamed Mi. They arrested Ms. Li Wenjing and ransacked her home on April 7, 2008. They confiscated a satellite dish, an MP3 player, and some Falun Gong truth clarification materials. It is heard that Ms. Li is being held in a brainwashing center.

Ms. Li Meihua from Caogoutou Village, Jinling Town, Zhaoyuan City, was arrested and put in the city's detention center on December 28, 2008. She is currently facing illegal trial.

Mr. Hu Yuanzi, 43, was arrested on April 3, 2008, for distributing Falun Gong truth clarification materials. Personnel from the Jiulijie Police Station ransacked his home the next afternoon. Mr. Hu is currently being held in the city's detention center. His family requested his release on April 4, 2008, but police denied the request.

Two women practitioners in their 30s from Zhaoyuan City were arrested and put into the Lingnan Gold Mine Brainwashing Center on April 8, 2008.

Ms. Zhang Shuyuan, an accountant in the Suibin County Planning Department, was arrested at 11:00 a.m. on April 8, 2008.

Mr. Chen Xi'nan is an employee from the Hanjiang Machinery Factory in the Xiangfan City Yuhang Company. Personnel from the Hanjiang Police Station arrested him the night of March 30, 2008, as he distributed information about Falun Gong. Police held Mr. Chen for two days and ransacked his home the morning of April 1, 2008. They confiscated two old printers and then put him into the Xiangfan City No.2 Detention Center on April 2, 2008.

Officials from Laohutai Police Station in Dongzhou District, Fushun City, arrested Mr. Cui Yujie on March 29, in complete violation of the Chinese constitution. They ransacked his home and took Falun Gong materials and some other items.

The Domestic Security Division head of the Ganqika Police Department in Zouhouqi, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and seven other officers followed officials from the Qijiazi Police Station in Changtu County, Liaoning Province, to the home of Mr. Liu Yamin in Yushu Village, Qijiazi Town. They pushed him into a police car. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Three police officers from Shenyang City broke into the home of a Falun Gong practitioner near Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp on April 13, 2003. Four of the five practitioners present managed to leave safely; one practitioner was arrested.

According to a witness, a young man in his 20s reported practitioner Ms. Zong Xiuxia on February 22, 2008. She tried to leave in a taxi, but the young man grabbed the front door and said to the driver, "You can't take her! She is a Falun Gong practitioner. I've already called the police." Zong Xiuxia got out of the taxi and hired a tricycle, but the young man kept following her, and she could not get away. Several minutes later the police arrived and arrested her. She was tortured to death after only four hours.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Junfeng from Taiping District, Harbin City, worked at the Dongli District Electricity Bureau. Taiping Police Department officials arrested him in early May 2003 and ransacked his home. They later arrested his wife. The current whereabouts of both practitioners are unknown.

Practitioner Mr. Yao Genshang was arrested in August 2007 and taken to a detention center. He has held a persecution protest hunger strike. The officials have tortured him by affixing him onto a wooden "bed" since March 27, 2008.

Mr. Cai Hongbo was arrested and held at the No 1 Detention Center in Anshan City. Right now agents at the Qianshan District Court plan to try him and sentence him to prison.

Officers from the Jianye Township Police Station in Linghai City arrested four practitioners who talked to people about Falun Gong. One practitioner later escaped. The other practitioners were released before 5:00 p.m. on April 8, 2008. Each person had 1,000 yuan extorted from him or her.

Four practitioners from Pingyao County were arrested on the afternoon of December 24, 2007. Ms. Ji Lingxian and Ms. Zhao Xuerui, both in their 50s, were arrested for the third time. A male practitioner named Zhang was living in exile. Police from his hometown pursued him. The practitioners were sentenced to prison terms of between five and seven years. The women are held at the Yuci Prison. The man's place of incarceration is unknown.

Ms. Zhang Tingxiu, 67, was from Xinjiangkou Town, Songzi City and Ms. Luo Zuying, 68, was from Wanjia Township, Songzi City.

Ms. Zhang and Ms. Luo were arrested on March 28, 2008, when distributing flyers in Yanglin Town. The police confiscated the flyers and VCDs. The two are now being held at the No. 1 Detention Center in Songzi City.

Mr. Guan Haibin, a former assistant at the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Falun Gong practice site, was sentenced to eight years in prison in Yulin City, where he is currently held.

He was sentenced to five years in prison in 1999 for going to Beijing to appeal. Mr. Guan was released from Litang Prison in 2004.
