Women's Forced Labor Camp of Hohhot City Tortured Practitioners
(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. Xu Xiaomin is now detained at the No. 1 Squad of the Women's Forced Labor Camp of Hohhot City in Inner Mongolia. Ms. Xu refused to write the three statements and has already been detained in the warehouse for a month. Recently the guards began to persecute her by forcing her to stand for a long time, limiting her sleep, forbidding her to use the toilet, as well as using other methods. During the night of March 1st, two prisoners, Xia Congling and Chi Yanxia, who were responsible for monitoring Ms. Xu, beat her. The next morning the deputy head of the squad, Lu Junqing, also beat her.
The methods that guards in the Women's Forced Labor Camp of Hohhot City used to torture Ms. Du Yuqing included piercing her with needles, forcing her to stand for a long time, forbidding her to use the toilet, pouring cold water down her shirt in winter, and beating her.
Practitioner Ms. Li Yufen had very serious lung disorders before she started practicing Falun Gong. She totally recovered from all her illnesses shortly after she learned the practice. While she was being persecuted at the Women's Forced Labor Camp of Hohhot City, those illnesses returned. In March 2008, she was sent to a military hospital. Even the doctors there were shocked to see that the forced labor camp detained such a sick patient. Later Ms. Li Yufen was transferred to the No. 2 Hospital to recover. Several days later, before her condition improved to normal, the forced labor camp took her back without notifying her family.
