(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners from Auckland held a series of activities in front of the Chinese Consulate to commemorate the April 25 Appeal and called for an end to the nine-year-long persecution of Falun Gong.

Candlelight vigil to commemorate practitioners who lost their lives in the persecution

Practitioners demonstrate the exercises at the candlelight vigil.

Practitioners held banners reading, "Commemorating the April 25 Appeal," and, "Stop the persecution of Falun Gong" in front of the Chinese Consulate. They demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and handed out truth-clarifying materials. Many passersby showed their supports for practitioners.
