Underestimating Our Abilities Indicates a Lack of Faith in Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) A few days ago, I read an article on Clearwisdom.net about a practitioner who was communicating with his son using mind-intent, and this caused me to think deeply about this issue.

I pondered, "Why can't we enable our divine sides during truth-clarification activities in everyday situations?"

First, we often fail to consider ourselves to be divine.

In Lecture Three of Zhuan Falun, Teacher says:

"There is another type of person. Someone was told in the past that he had spirit or animal possession. He felt that way as well. However, upon having it removed for him, his mind still worries about it. He always thinks that the condition still exists. He still thinks that it is there, and this is already an attachment called suspicion."

My personal understanding is that Teacher has given us all supernormal abilities that allow us to overcome all obstacles, yet because we continue thinking like conventional human beings, we are not convinced of our divine nature. Shouldn't we eliminate this attachment of suspicion? The root of this suspicion corresponds to the level of faith we have in Teacher and Dafa.

Second, we let human notions take the upper hand.

"What is a human?
Full is he of emotion and desire.
What is a God?
Human thoughts are nowhere found."

("The Difference Between Mortal and Divine" from Hong Yin)

From reading sharing articles on Clearwisdom.net, we see how practitioners have utilized supernormal abilities while in a state which is free of human notions, and overcame danger. But when our human notions get the upper hand, our supernormal abilities cannot be activated.

How can we dissolve our human notions while strengthening our divine thoughts? We must listen to Teacher and study the Fa more. Whenever we encounter tribulations, divine thoughts will be expressed, which will enable us to resolve our issues. When we are able to do so, there will be no more persecution. Hasn't Teacher given us the power to protect ourselves? We should not underestimate ourselves. We should eliminate the human reasoning that has been formed in us for hundreds and thousands of years. Unless we eliminate human reasoning, we will be human forever.

Falun Dafa practitioners all around the world, let us all become divine!
