(Clearwisdom.net) On May 10, 2008, more than 600 Falun Gong practitioners from Taoyuan, Taiwan, held an activity in front of the city government building to celebrate the 9th World Falun Dafa Day. Practitioners performed songs and dances. After the event, a parade was held.

The parade, led by the Divine Land Marching Band, started from the city government building, went alone Fuhsing Rd. and ended at the train station. Many people stopped to watch it.

The band performed at the train station, while many people listened. A woman from Mainland China said: "Taiwanese are really lucky to have the freedom of belief." Another woman from the mainland praised the parade. She said she knew about the persecution of Falun Gong and she is against it.

Practitioners passed out large numbers of "truth-clarifying materials" during the parade. After the parade, the practitioners came back to the city government building, where they demonstrated the exercises and continued to pass out truth-clarifying materials.
