On December 2, 2000, I went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was arrested. I was sent to a district detention center and held there for 15 days. For ten days of my detention, I was kept in a dark room where six or seven people took turns beating and kicking me. I was knocked down many times, and ended up having bruises all over my body. Because I didn't study the Fa enough and lacked a clear understanding of the Fa, I paid 3,000 yuan as so called guarantee money under pressure and also signed my name on a sheet saying I will no longer practice. Now through Fa study, I realize that's my shame. I hereby solemnly declare all I signed and said before null and void. I will study the Fa more and double my efforts to make up for the loss I caused to Dafa.

On March 29, I was approached by my village police station officers. They wanted me to guarantee not to go to Beijing to appeal for Dafa during the Olympic season. Out of fear, I signed a statement. I now declare my signature nullified. I do not recognize the tricks the Chinese Communist Party uses to persecute us. I will cultivate Dafa until the very end.
