(Clearwisdom.net) In order to display the beauty of Falun Dafa, Belgium Falun Gong practitioners attended the "Mano Munda" activity in Boom, Antwerp on May 11 and 12, 2008, and celebrated Falun Dafa Day.

People signed their names to support Falun Gong and to call for an end to the persecution.

The "Mano Munda" event is an annual celebration. This year, over ten thousand people attended. Many of the visitors were families who drove in from surrounding cities. On the spacious lawn, there were concerts, dancing, food vendors and souvenir stands. The event was permeated with a festive atmosphere.

Falun Gong practitioners erected a yellow tent on the lawn with a banner celebrating Falun Dafa Day. On the side were photographs commemorating the spread of Falun Dafa and on a table in the tent there were Falun Dafa books and other informational materials. During the two days of activities the practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and talked to people about the practice of Falun Dafa and how it is being persecuted in China.

A large number of people came to the Falun Dafa tent to watch the exercise demonstration, and many asked for materials. After learning about the persecution, many asked, "What can I do to support you?"

Daniel lives on the coast near the city of Bruges. He is a member of Greenpeace, an organization that strives to protect the natural environment. When Falun Gong practitioner Wilfried Duchamps told him about Falun Gong and about the brutal nine-year persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), including how thousands of practitioners have been persecuted to death and how the CCP harvests the organs of living Falun Gong practitioners for profit, Daniel said, "I cannot hear any more; it just makes me want to weep." After turning around and leaving for a while, he came back and asked to sign his name against the persecution.

Later, Daniel returned several times to the Falun Dafa tent to ask the practitioners for more detailed information about Falun Gong. He also watched practitioners doing the exercises on the lawn. Finally, he asked about where he could learn and practice Falun Gong.

A teacher named Helsen and her daughter Zouters signed their names on the petition to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. Then she asked a practitioner, "Can I have a page of the petition form please? I would like to bring it back to school, to let the people I work with sign it." She also requested some more truth-clarification materials, which the practitioners were happy to give.Over the course of the two-day event, many more people came to learn about Falun Gong and signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution.
