Revered Teacher, greetings with heshi from a young Falun Gong student! I wish you a Happy Birthday!

I have been a Falun Gong student since I was born. I am ten years old this year. Nowadays I have been doing the Three Things with my mother every day.

When I was just a toddler, I learned to make small paper envelopes out of colorful paper to hold Falun Gong's truth-clarification materials, which she and I have delivered to thousands of households in our area. Every time I distribute a copy of truth-clarification material, I see radiant light shooting from it! Winter nights are very chilling, but I fear no hardship for the sake of saving sentient beings.

In the daytime, I post Falun Gong's truth-clarification phrases on electricity poles on the streets. Each time I post one, I heshi to ask Teacher and Fa-guarding divine beings to watch over it and prevent it from being torn down. When I come back to check on them, I am glad to see them untouched and undamaged.

Mom and I often send forth righteous thoughts outside. One winter month about a year ago, a local people's court tried a fellow Falun Gong practitioner. Mom and I got up early and went to the court to send forth righteous thoughts to cleanse the area. When we arrived at the court, it was cloudy. The Chinese Communist regime's court looked to me like a haunted mansion. Over ten practitioners of different ages and genders arrived at the court and together we sent forth righteous thoughts towards the court. An hour later the sun came out from behind the clouds, radiating golden light in the sky. Suddenly I discovered colorful clouds in the sky. Colorful clouds in the shape of a staircase filled the sky above us. They spread out like an ellipse above the court, extending towards the sun. I saw Teacher sitting next to the sun. The giant lotus flower platform Teacher was sitting on emitted golden radiance. Teacher watched us, bestowing His compassion upon us. Flanking Teacher were numerous Buddhas, Daos, and divine beings on their lotus platforms. Each divine being wore a different shaped halo. Some divine beings had a halo shaped like a beautiful banana leaf. Celestial maidens sprinkled colorful flowers from their bamboo baskets into the sky. When Teacher noticed that I was watching them, He smiled at me with compassion. I heshied towards Teacher as my greeting. I said to Teacher from my heart, "Teacher, please don't worry. I shall have our fellow practitioner released as soon as possible!"

Near noon when we had eradicated a large quantity of evil elements from other dimensions, the sky above the court appeared to be bright and clean, as though the sky had been washed. It felt wonderful. But I noticed a trace of darkness moving towards the northeast. They were dark minions, rotten demons, and the evil specter of the Chinese Communist Party. Mom said, "That's the direction of a detention center where the practitioner facing the illegal trial is currently imprisoned!" She and I went to the detention center to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil beings. I asked Teacher to reinforce our righteous thoughts and to have the court release the practitioner at the trial the next day!

On the evening following July 20, 2007, Mom and I were arrested while posting truth-clarification materials in public. A local deputy police chief tried to make me tell him my home address. He asked, "Where is your father?" I replied defiantly, "I have not known my father since I was born." Father hates Falun Gong because he does not understand Falun Gong. All year round he works out of town. The police separated me from my mom. They tried to play games with me. During the game, the police would ask questions in a casual manner, "Does your school have a big playground?" "What is your schoolteacher's last name?" I was afraid of releasing any personal information, so I made up my mind to be silent. I thought, "There is Teacher and there is the Fa. I fear nothing! You are not entitled to interrogate me." When it was near dawn, the police released us because they couldn't get any information from us. They couldn't because Teacher watched over us and because practitioners in China and overseas tried to rescue us.

Afterwards I learned that all the practitioners in the area went near the police station to send forth righteous thoughts as soon as Mom and I were arrested. They kept sending forth righteous thoughts until 1 a.m. Meanwhile, the police received six phone calls from practitioners in Taiwan, asking them to release Mom and me. Mom said, "It is because we have faith in Teacher and the Fa. As one body, our power has intimidated the evil beings." She told me to bear Teacher's words in mind. Teacher said:

"If you have fear, they will grab you
Once your thought is righteous, evil will collapse
People practicing cultivation, filled with Fa
Sending righteous thoughts, exploding rotten ghosts
Gods are in the world, validating Fa" ("What's There to Fear" in Hong Yin II)
