The Longing of the World's People

(Clearwisdom.net) As Dafa practitioners are closely following Teacher during the Fa-Rectification and doing the three things well, I truly feel that the world's people are longing for us to save them. Their words and actions make Dafa practitioners realize their great responsibilities, especially in the short time that remains. I have a few examples of this:

When I was handing out the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I put one on a raised platform, along the roadside, leading to a farmer's market. I thought that everyone who walked by would be able to see the book, and if they had a predestined relationship, they would take the book and be saved. I left the book there, in a bag, over night and returned the next morning to see if it had been taken. I noticed that the bag was still there, so I assumed the book had not been taken. As I picked up the bag, wanting to put the book in a different location, I found the book was gone, and in its place was a note. The note read, "I have taken the book. I can only read it without my family knowing, so I have not yet finished it. This book is really well written. I have very little historical knowledge of China and do not know a lot of the things that have happened. I have only heard other people talk about historical events. In order to let more people know the truth of these events I will put the book back after I have read it, so that more people can read it. Thank you, unknown friend." The note was signed at the bottom. When I read these sincere words, I felt very happy for this person.

On another occasion, I was having lunch in a small restaurant, when a lady in her early 20's, came and sat in the vacant seat across from me. She was smiling at me, so I started a conversation with her. She was a Ughurian art school graduate, from Xinjiang, and was currently working for a company here. We soon started talking about the corruption of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), about the deterioration of morality in today's society, and about how atheist ideology has poisoned many good people. She said, "They asked me to join the CCP when I was in college, but I did not. Who would want to do those dirty things?" I then told her that Falun Gong is a piece of pure land and that it had been widely spread to all parts of the world.

The lady listened carefully and raised a stream of questions relating to the "April 25" appeal, the self-immolation on the Tiananmen Square (which was staged by the CCP), and other things. After hearing my answers she was very happy and immediately decided to quit the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers. She then said, "Can you also help my boyfriend quit? He has similar feelings as me and he listens to me." Before she left, she told the waitress, "This auntie's lunch is on me." I hurried to catch up with her to put my lunch money in her pocket. I said, "I hope to see you again and chat some more." As I watched her walking away, I thought to myself: what a wonderful young lady! All the sentient beings in her world are joyfully celebrating as this moment!

Another time, I was traveling with an older lady in her 70's. During our conversation, I found out that she had converted to Buddhism two years ago and had started to burn incense to honor Buddha every morning and night. We talked about the general degradation of morality, and the corruption and bullying from the government officials. I told her sincerely that Falun Dafa was also from the Buddha school, and that "Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance" was the Fa of the universe. She replied, "I am not against Falun Gong. One's belief is one's own business. I just want to study the Buddha Fa well. As long as I continue to do good deeds, I will be rewarded with good results." Then I asked her if she knew of quitting the CCP. She did not understand, so I briefly explained about the movement of quitting the CCP, and the reason why one had to quit. She said that the CCP deserved to be destroyed by heaven, but quitting the CCP did not concern her. As a Buddhist she said she would not be affected by any natural disaster. I told her, "Sister, think about it. The CCP is atheist while we truly believe there are Buddha and Gods. Why would you want to be associated with the CCP?" She suddenly came to her senses and said, "Well then! I will quit the Communist Youth League."

There are many more touching stories that I have experienced while clarifying the truth. I deeply believe that there are many people with predestined relationships in all walks of life who are waiting to be saved by us.
