Police Officers in Tumen City Physically Abuse Female Falun Gong Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) At 7 a.m. on March 11, 2008, policemen Zhang Bin, Jin Minghe and two other officers from Shixian Town Police Station stormed into Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Qingjun's home. Mr. Zhang is in his 50s. The officers ransacked his home, found a Falun emblem, and took him into custody until March 27, 2008.

Less than a month later, at 4 p.m. on April 23, 2008, policeman Jin Minghe and another officer from the Shixian Town Police Station drove to Mr. Zhang Qingjun's home and arrested Mr. and Mrs. Zhang. They were led by a community administration official. At around 6 p.m. on the same day, Jin Minghe, two other officers, and the community administration official ransacked Mr. Zhang's home and took an MP3 player with them to the police station. They physically and verbally abused the practitioners, took them to Anshan Detention Center under the jurisdiction of the Tumen City Police Department, and released them on May 9, 2008, after having detained them for 15 days.

During this incident, many domestic security agents from the Tumen City Police Department, such as Wang Yuancheng and Quan Yongzhe (both male), stayed at the Shixian Town Police Station. Quan Yongzhe severely beat practitioners Mr. Zhang Qingjun, Ms. Zhang Shuhua, Ms. Wang Yuxia and Ms. Zhang Lanying. He slapped each practitioner six to seven times, and punched and kicked them for more than an hour, until he was exhausted. After he collapsed into a chair, he still cursed at the practitioners. One of them asked, "What gives you the right to beat people?" He replied, "Who saw me beat you?"

During the detention, officer Quan Yongzhe used an electric baton on practitioner Ms. Zhou Guiling's genital area and lower abdomen. This barbaric act caused Ms. Zhou to lose control of her bladder, and her lower body was in pain for a week after that. Her arms and legs are covered with bruises. Quan Yongzhe also slapped Ms. Gong Xiuying more than a dozen times. Ms. Zhou and Ms. Gong were both taken to the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, each with a one-year term.
