(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25-28, 2008, Divine Performing Arts (DPA) successfully staged several performances of the Chinese Spectacular at the Bell Performing Arts Center, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, just outside Vancouver. As Parliamentary Secretary for Multiculturalism and Immigration I want to stress how important it is to the government of British Columbia, and to our incredible diversity community, that New Tang Dynasty and Falun Dafa are bringing awareness of authentic Chinese culture and heritage to western audiences.

Understanding, sharing and celebrating the diversity of British Columbia is vital to our growth and future.

I congratulate everyone - organizers, volunteers and performers - involved in this spectacular showcase of the arts and values of ancient China. I look forward with great anticipation to seeing this remarkable display first hand, commend all of your contributions to better understanding the cultural mosaic that has been the hallmark of British Columbia since its inception 150 years ago.

This historic world tour will do much to foster understanding of the Chinese culture in the western world, and make both new Canadians and those who have lived here for generations much more aware of the "Land of the Divine".
