(Clearwisdom.net) Happy Birthday to our great Teacher from my whole family. This includes 41 people who have directly or indirectly benefited from Falun Gong.

I was fortunate to learn Falun Gong in the beginning of 1998. I have changed dramatically over the last 10 years. My life was miserable before 1998. I had many illnesses, a failed marriage, very little income and a small child to raise. I had thoughts of suicide several times. My daughter said, "Mom, if you want to die, we will jump together from At this low point in my life, I learned about Falun Dafa.

It was one day before the 1998 Chinese New Year. We went to my parents' home to celebrate. My brother put Zhuan Falun and the exercise tapes in front of me after lunch. He told me how powerful and good the exercises are. He told me that many people were practicing Falun Gong throughout China.

Life had become very hard. I emotionally withdrew from the people and world around me. Feeling unfairly burdened, I could no longer place any faith in the heavens or deities.

My brother insisted, "Please give it a try. You won't lose anything. Just give it a try." He persuaded me to look at the book, Zhuan Falun. I read Lunyu and the list of nine lectures. Every cell in my body seemed to fill with energy. I read in Lecture One, the section titled, "Truly Guiding People Up to High Levels." I was fascinated by the profound meanings I experienced in the very beginning. I could not put the book down and read through the night. I found the real reasons behind the hardships in my life and true goal of being a human being. This precious Zhuan Falun is not just a Qigong or meditation book. It is what I have sought all my life. I had always believed in gods and found faith in them again.

I told my mother and brother about my feelings after reading the book. I could not wait to go home and start doing the exercises. They understood. I went home New Year's Day. I started to learn the exercises by following the picture illustrations, immediately. After doing the "Falun Heavenly Circuit" exercise the second time, I could bend my back! My herniated disk had prevented me from bending for a long time. I had rheumatic heart disease, a disease of the stomach, and bilateral hydronephrosis disease of the kidneys for over thirty years. Ever since I was seventeen, I could not drink cold water. If I ate ice cream or fruit, my face would swell so big that my eyes could barely open. I had to wear winter clothes in the summer. After suffering from these illnesses for so long, I felt that no part of my body was good anymore. However, my second day of practice, I was able to sweep the floor and put the heavy cooking pot on the top of the stove. This miracle made me determined in my cultivation.

I tried to follow Teacher's Fa and apply it to everything I did. My moral character improved quickly. All of my illnesses were gone. I became very energetic, broad-hearted and optimistic. I no longer lose my temper with my daughter for no reason. Our budget is tight, but there is now laughter in our lives. My daughter studied diligently and received the highest score in our region during the National College Entrance Exam. She has been accepted by a good university in Tianjin City.

Word about my daughter's academic achievements and my health improvement has spread throughout the community. My neighbors and colleagues were all astonished to see these changes. I shared how wonderful Falun Gong is and introduced them to the "Fa".

I have gained so much from Dafa these past ten years. The depth of my gratitude to Teacher cannot be expressed in words and brings tears to my eyes. I want to overcome my writing difficulties, in order to express my wonderful experiences from practicing Dafa. I want to tell people that Falun Gong helps people overcome illness and become healthy. Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa. It is not wrong to cultivate, Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance. The reputation of my Teacher and Dafa, currently slandered by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), should be cleared!

I personally have been persecuted by the CCP twice for my belief in Falun Gong. Teacher's protection enabled me to survive and be released each time. I didn't do too well the first time, but our benevolent Teacher did not give up on me. He kept giving me hints and leading me to cultivate better. My daughter said that I would have surely died by now had I not learned Falun Gong.

I now know how to cultivate myself by looking inside myself first. Then, I strive to harmonize with other practitioners and the group as a whole to do what is needed to save sentient beings. I still have many attachments to overcome in my life. I need to get rid of them quickly, so I can return to my true home. I do not want to waste the hardships Teacher has endured for my salvation.Our relatives have benefited greatly from Falun Dafa. They all know that Dafa is good and that it is not easy for Teacher to save us. They all support my daughter and me in cultivation and some of them even help us to validate the Fa. Many miracles have happened to them. On behalf of our 41 relatives who have directly or indirectly benefited from Dafa, I express our best wishes to Teacher! My relatives and I will strive to do better.
