Police Expel Patients and Arrest Doctor at Hospital in Xinjiang Province

(Clearwisdom.net) At approximately 10:40 am, May 28, 2008, three plainclothes police officers broke into Friendship Hospital, located at Xibei Road of Urumqi City, Xinjiang Province. They expelled the patients and kidnapped Doctor Zou Changqing.

The patients and the doctor's colleagues who witnessed the illegal arrest were sad and confused: "What a good doctor she is. Why was she treated in such a way? Why did they do such a thing to her patients?" They expressed disbelief at the authorities irrational behavior.

Those responsible are police officers Li Shujun, Liu Xindong and another man from the branch office of the police bureau of Xinshi area of Urumqi City. Their telephone number is 86-991-4815043.

According to Doctor Zou's mother and husband, Dr. Zou is being held at a detention center in the Shui area. No relatives are allowed to visit her. They were told that she would not be released until the 2008 Olympic Games have ended.

Hospital employees said that for all these years Doctors Zou has always worked very hard. She is very noble with high medical ethics. Every day she would meet with dozens of patients. Everybody knows that she is a good person who follows the principle of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Tolerance."

The incident reported above is simply another crime committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the run-up to the Olympic Games. The Party uses the games to hide their violation of human rights and persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.
