European Divine Land Marching Band Performs in Heidelberg (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) Heidelberg is not only famous for its 600-year-old
Heidelberg University, the oldest university in Germany, but also for the most
gorgeous castle in Europe-Heidelberg Castle. The castle enjoys status similar
to that of Versaille. Its beautiful scenery made impressions on the famous poet
Goethe, and also on French writer Victor Hugo. On June 22, 2008, magnificent
music resounded in front of the ancient Heidelberg Castle. The European Divine
Land Marching Band came to Heidelberg to play five songs: "Falun Dafa is
Good," "Fa Drums and Fa Trumpets," "Ode to Joy,"
"The Fa Rectifies the Universe" and "Delivering Treasure." The European Divine Land Marching Band performs in front of

seventies. They come from various nations, and speak an assortment of languages.
But they all share a common wish-to demonstrate the beauty of Falun Gong to
listeners through music. The band performs along the pedestrian streets of Old Town Many tourists happily accepted Falun Gong truth-clarification
materials handed out by practitioners. While watching the performance, a young
mother with her baby in her arms danced to the music. Some tourists snapped
photos of the band. After the performance, lodgers near the castle leaned out of
their windows to applaud. In addition to the castle event, the band also performed along the pedestrian
streets of Old Town. Two ladies were seen dancing to the music, and many coffee
shop patrons applauded the band. An older couple followed the band the whole way
and praised, "Fantastic, brilliant." Members of the band range from teenagers to those in their seventies. They

share a common wish-to demonstrate the beauty of Falun Gong to listeners
through music. They also hope the truth can be known through the music so that
people can learn more about innocent Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted
by the Chinese Communist Party. In the past year or so, members of the band have
performed across Europe on their own time, paying their own expenses, and the
beautiful music played has been appreciated by many. The performance at
Heidelberg was the band's twenty-seventh event.
