Reciting "Falun Dafa is Good" Turned Misfortune to Good Fortune

(Clearwisdom.net) I'm an electrician. The afternoon of May 12, 2008, my colleagues and I were laying electrical wires in our company cafeteria's ceiling. We were standing on a board suspended from the ceiling. There were blue tiles above our heads. A single step in a wrong place and we could have broken the board and fallen off.

At about 2:00 p.m., all of a sudden the boards beneath our feet began vibrating strongly. I thought it was shaking because somebody was trying to climb up, so I shouted, "Be gentle, we cannot afford to fall down!" My colleagues said, "It's not right. Even the tiles are shaking. It is an earthquake!"

I suddenly remembered reading stories in Falun Dafa materials that say that in dangerous situations, sincerely reciting "Falun Dafa is good" or "Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance is good" can avert tragedy. I immediately shouted to my colleagues, "say Falun Dafa is good, quickly!" After I said that, my heart calmed down at once and I had no more fear. We were reciting "Falun Dafa is Good" together. The noise of earthquake was deafening, the tiles above our heads were rattling, and the boards beneath our feet were shaking violently, but not a single tile fell on us. After about two or three minutes, the earthquake stopped. I truly believe that we got down safely thanks to Falun Dafa. We were truly and extremely excited.

Later I saw many people had escaped and heard that many people died or were injured in the earthquake. Countless buildings collapsed. We felt so sorry for that. The cafeteria was built many years ago, but it was not damaged at all. My colleagues and I went through great danger unscathed. We were all very lucky. Thanks to Falun Dafa for saving us.

Today I'm writing my experience to tell people, tell our countryman, memorize by heart this life saving sentence: "Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance is good." When crisis comes, remember to recite this for your safety.

One of my colleagues told me that his house was completely ruined by the earthquake. Many people were injured. With no medicine and no doctors, people had to watch some of the injured die in pain. Another colleague said that in Mianzhu, Sichuan Province, three days before the earthquake, people found that swarms of animals, like mice, snakes, and frog were running all over the place on the roads. They asked local officials what was going on and were told that this was "because we were doing well at protecting the environment, which resulted in many animals being able to survive. Don't panic." In fact, these migrations signal an upcoming seismic disaster. Much information like this was tightly blocked by the Chinese Communist Party, forbidding people to talk about such things, since Beijing is afraid to upset the Olympic Games.

After learning that many people practice Falun Dafa in over eighty countries, we realized that the CCP is wrong. We all withdrew from the Chinese Communist Party, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers.
