North Carolina: Practitioners Collect Signatures of Support for Falun Gong on Independence Day (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners have attended the Eno River
Festival on Independence Day in Durham, North Carolina for several years in a
row. This year, they demonstrated the exercises, passed out informational
materials and collected signatures to call for an end to the persecution of
Falun Gong. Through these activities, more and more local citizens are learning
about the persecution in China. Demonstrating the exercises Signing to support Falun Gong Signing to support Falun Gong Mr. Well of Durham comes to the festival every year. He is knowledgeable
about the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime. This year,
when he saw the practitioners, he approached their booth and signed his name.
His friend was surprised that the nine-year-long persecution is still going on. Many people were delighted by the hand-made paper lotus flowers. They
accepted the flowers and other materials and signed their names to support Falun
Gong. The Eno River Festival in Durham started in 1966. Since then, it has become a
local tradition every Independence Day.
