(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 7 provinces. In this report, 6 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 40 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Wang Qiong and Ms. Xiang Yan were reported to the police while clarifying the truth on May 25, 2008. They were arrested by police officers from the local station and agents from the National Security Division. They are being detained at the Wufeng County Detention Center.

On January 26, 2008, 15 practitioners were arrested in Qingdao City by officers from the Shandong Province 610 Office and the Qiangdao City 610 Office. Several truth clarifying material sites were destroyed. Most of the practitioners arrested are still in the Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao City. The CCP officers plan to hand down long sentences to the practitioners before the Olympics begin.

At 7:00 a.m., on June 26, 2008, several practitioners' homes were ransacked by Chen Guide (male) and Li from the Gucheng Township, along with police officers from the Dingxing County Government and agents from the National Security Division. They took photos of the founder of Falun Gong, truth clarification materials, "Minghui Weekly" magazines and truth clarification DVDs.

On the afternoon of June 21, 2008, Ms. Wei Fenglian, in her 60s, from Yaozhai Town, Dong'e County and Ms. Zhou Xiuying, 71, from Xincheng District were reported to the police while the two were clarifying the truth. They were arrested by local police officers. The police extorted 3000 yuan from Ms. Zhou and then she was released. Ms. Wei is in the Dong'e County Detention Center.

At 11:00 a.m., on June 25, 2008, Ms. Pan Yujun, who was working at the Huanri Co., was arrested by officers from the Laizhou City 610 Office. They ransacked her home and confiscated copies of the the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, DVDs, a satellite transmitter, and a computer.

At 3:00 p.m. on the same day, Ms. Li Qiaoying from Zhenzhu Xiaolijia Village was also arrested. Her computer, a printer, and Dafa books were taken from her home.

On May 14, 2008, Mr. Wang Yue was arrested and had his home ransacked by police officers from the Chaoyang District, Beijing. He has been sentenced to two years of forced labor.

Ms. Zhuo Wenning, 30, an excellent teacher at the Fourth Kindergarten in Yi County, was arrested by police officers from the National Security Division of the Yi County Police Department while she was at work. Her home was ransacked and all of her Dafa books and materials were taken. She was brutally beaten by police officers from the National Security Division. On April 13, 2008, she was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor by police officers from the National Security Division. She was taken to Shijiazhuang Women's Labor Camp.

On the afternoon of June 25, 2008, police officers from Linqu County and the Zhifang Station went into Ms. Liu Xinghua'a home and arrested her. They ransacked her home and took Dafa books. Later, they ransacked Mr. Wang Xingkai's home.

Mr. Sun Shilun from Yangshan Town, Linqu County, was arrested in his home by police officers from Linqu County. They took away Dafa materials.

On May 25, 2008, Ms. Chen Shanglian, a retired employee from the Shahe Town Supply and Market, was arrested by agents from the Laizhou City 610 Office, and her home was ransacked. They took away truth clarification DVDs and materials.

On the morning of May 27, 2008, Ms. Xu Guanghua was arrested at Shahe Town, Laizhou City.

Ms. Wu Guijuan was arrested at Hongmei Town, Meihekou City, on April, 23, 2008. She is being held in the Third Ward of Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. On the same day Ms. Li Yuhua and Mr. Wang Anping were arrested. They are detained at the Meihekou City Detention Center.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., on June 24, 2008, five police officers from the Juncheng Community Station, went into Mr. Wang Jibin's home. They took Mr. Wang away by force.

On the second day, Mr. Wang's wife, Ms. Zhang Yuqin, was arrested. She was taken to the Gaobeidian City Detention Center. Mr. Wang was released..

On June 26, 2008, Ms. Liu Fengying, a resident of Gongxinzhuang Village, Juncheng Community, was arrested.

On the afternoon of June 16, 2008, Ms. Chen Meilan, 62, was arrested at her own sewing store in Jinxian County. Her home was ransacked and Dafa books and truth clarification materials were taken. She is being held at the Jinxian County Detention Center.

At approximately noon on June 24, 2008, 20 people from the Gaozhou City 610 Office, the National Security Division, the Nan'guan Police Station, and the Neighborhood Administration Office grabbed the key to the home of Ms. Li Jianying' husband and arrested Ms. Li Jianying.

On the morning of June 26, 2008, police officer from the Xiangyang Department, Longcheng District, and officers from the Mashan Station in Chaoyang City arrested the following practitioners: Ms. Wang Shuxian, 60 years old; Ms. Jiang Hongying; and Ms. Geng Guoge. Their homes were ransacked at the same time.

On the afternoon of April 22, 2008, police officers from Hetou Station, Tanggu District, and the Tanggu District Department arrested Ms. Huang Huixiang and four other practitioners. Ms. Huang Huixiang was sentenced to 15 months of forced labor.

On the afternoon of February 28, 2008, police officers from the Tanggu District, Tianjin City, and the Tanggu Department, arrested Mr. Xu Guomin, 43 years old; Ms. Qi Changrong; Mr. Bai Hong, 30 years old; Ms. Song Hongcui; Ms. Liu Shanmin, 62 years old; and Mr. Bai Wenlong. They are now in the detention center.

At approximately 8:00 a.m. on June 26, 2008, Zhang Jianhua, the deputy secretary of the CCP in Zheng Village, and police officers from the Beihe Station and the National Security Division in Dingxing County went to Mr. Yang Jinxian and Mr. Tian Ruilong's home. They took DVDs and truth clarification materials. Mr. Yan and Mr. Tian were taken to the Dingxing Detention Center.

On the afternoon of June 26, 2008, police officers went to the homes of Ms. Cao Yingbin and Ms. in Nanzhiqiu Town. The police took a computer, a satellite cable, and Dafa truth clarifying materials. Ms. Cao and Ms. Wei were arrested.

On June 23, 2008, the director of Zunhua City First Thermal Power Plant, Zhao Shan (male), and Gao Zhenzhong (male), together with agents from the National Security Division of Zunhua City 610 Office, forced the employees to write slander about the founder of Falun Gong. All those present were required to give their opinion about Falun Gong. Ms. Zhu Cailing, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was arrested by 610 Office agents because she refused to comply. Later, her home was ransacked and Dafa books and truth clarifying materials were confiscated.

On June 25, 2008, Ms. Jiang Longying from Erdaojiang District, Tonghua City, was arrested by railroad employees in the train station waiting room of the town just before Tonghua City. Her MP3 player and truth clarifying materials were taken away.

On the morning of June 16, 2008, Ms. Xu Yingchun, Ms. Li Xiujun, and Ms. Sui Lianfang were arrested by police officers from the Wanggezhuang Station in Qingdao City. Ms. Sui was released after they extorted 3000 yuan from her. Ms. Li Xiujun, around 40 years old, and Ms. Xu Yingchun, in her 60s, are now in the Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao City.

At 4:00 p.m., on June 23, 2008, Ms. Wang Jinlian was arrested by police officers in Ruichang City. Her home was ransacked and the police took away truth clarifying materials and Dafa books. She is now being held in Ruichang Detention Center.
