On the staff of a corporation in a small town in the Northeast of China are several Dafa practitioners. They always act according to the principles of "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance," and so they are often praised by their co-workers.
At a dinner party for the New Year, the president gave a toast to everyone. When he walked up to a Falun Gong practitioner, another employee told him that he was a practitioner and didn't drink alcohol. The president was very pleased and stated "If all the employees practiced Falun Gong, I would not need to worry!"
The 610 Office Is Getting More and More Difficult to Work For
One of the staff members of a "610 Office" in a small town in the Northeast recently said in public that the office is getting more and more difficult to work for and that they are always running into difficulties. Their superiors verbally assigned a task but did not supply any funds or transportation. Employees were assigned to local units, and each unit was told to hand out 500 yuan and provide a car. However, more than two months passed, and the unit did not hand out any money.
People Are Awakening and Refusing to Do Things That Harm Both Themselves and Others
Li Zhiming works for the 610 Office of Zhuolu County in Hebei Province. He went to a village to extort money from practitioners, saying they would be "fined 5,000 yuan if he found a Dafa flyer." The village officials threw him out, and he left depressed.
A Chinese Communist Party member in a town in Zhuolu County, Hebei Province, used the excuse of "saving the Olympics," when he told a village official to hire people and pay them 20 yuan a day to monitor Dafa practitioners from June to October 2008. The official refused and asked the person, "Who will pay the 20,00 yuan to hire them? I won't do such a foolish thing that would only bring harm to both myself and others!"
