Falun Gong Practitioners Yang Xiaofeng and Qi Wenbin Tortured in Suihua Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 27, 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Yang Xiaofeng was transferred from Huanan County Detention Center to Suihua Forced Labor Camp. Camp guards, including Jin Qingfu, Qian Shiliang, Hua Fei, and Diao Xuesong, forced him to write the three statements. After he refused, the guards tied him up on a bed, hit him in the chest, taped his mouth shut, and plugged his nose with 4 lit cigarettes, causing him to inhale the smoke. They burned through a whole pack of cigarettes using this torture method. They also used the cigarettes to burn Mr. Yang's fingernails. Later that evening, Mr. Yang coughed up a piece of cigarette.

On the evening of May 27, criminal inmate Li Yingjun was ordered by guards Diao Xuesong and Jin Qingfu to beat Mr. Yang Xiaofeng. The following day, Li Yingjing beat Mr. Yang Xiaofeng for about one hour. On the morning of May 29, Mr. Yang was beaten by Song Guojun.

These serious torture methods caused Mr. Yang breathing difficulties and serious chest pain. Instead of being sent to a hospital, he was forced to do heavy labor, such as moving bricks and stones.

Because Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Qi Wenbin, from Shuangyashan City, refused to sing Chinese Communist Party songs and refused to memorize the camp's rules and regulations, he was tortured by guards Gao Zhonghai, Diao Xuesong, and Liu Wei. He was hung up and needles were inserted under his fingernails. His genitals and feet were shocked with electric batons. His eyelids and nose were seriously burned with cigarettes. The torture lasted for more than seven hours. Mr. Qi Wenbin started to feel dizzy on June 7, as the torture escalated daily. He could not speak clearly, and began to lose his vision. He also couldn't control his hands and feet, and had difficulty urinating and defecating. Currently, his ankles are so swollen that his feet are turned inward, rendering him unable to stand. Guards take turns monitoring him. Under such conditions, he was sent to the camp hospital for a CT scan only. The guards claimed that Mr. Qi Wenbin was pretending to be ill. They ordered four criminal inmates to drag and pull him to the cafeteria during mealtimes. One doctor said that he should have been released from the camp a long time ago.

After being tortured to the point to mental instability, Falun Gong practitioner Qu Wenbin was transferred to Suihua Forced Labor Camp. At the labor camp, Qu is beaten by guards and criminals every day. This practitioner's condition is miserable and dire.
