National Security Police of Yunhe Police Department Arrest and Fine Seven Falun Dafa Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) From mid-May 2008 to June 5, 2008, chief Liu Kanhua of the National Security Team of Yunhe Police Department led police officers to arrest seven Falun Dafa practitioners: Ms. An Congmin, Ms. Li Shumei, Ms. Li Yindi, Mr. Ma Cunzhuang, Mr. Wang Jiasheng, Ms. Tang Jianying and Ms. Wang Jinzhi. Some of the practitioners were released after being fined 10,000 to 20,000 yuan. Wang Jiasheng, Tang Jianying and Wang Jinzhi were transferred to the Cangzhou Detention Center. Wang Jinzhi was released on July 4, 2008.

After Mr. Wang Jiasheng and Ms. Tang Jianying were arrested, the police stayed at their home for many days, eating their food and using up other resources. They backed up the sewer system and made a mess of the home. On July 8, 2008, Wang Jiasheng's mother went to the police department, demanding their release. However, the police told her to sign or put her fingerprint on the two practitioners' warrants. She refused their request.

Mr. Wang Jiasheng and Ms. Wang Jinzhi were arrested while they were shopping for DVD's on the second floor of the Suning Electronics Store, which is located across the street from the Tongtian Shopping Mall. The police arrested Ms. Tang Jianying while searching Mr. Wang Jiasheng's home. At Mr. Wang's home, the police confiscated pictures of Teacher Li, many Dafa books, some truth-clarification fliers, a bankbook, a laptop, a printer, a TV, a DVD player, two cellphones, and an electric motorcar. The police confiscated a cellphone and a bankbook with a balance of 7,500 yuan from Ms. Wang Jinzhi.

From Ms. Li Shumei's home, the police took away two computers, a printer, and 20,000 yuan in cash. The police also extorted tens of thousands of yuan from Ms. Li's company, a finance school. Ms. Li Yindi and Mr. Ma Cunzhuang were fined 20,000 yuan. The police also took a computer, a tape recorder, and about 3,000 yuan in cash from their home.
