Requesting Urgent Help for a Teacher in Ningxia Autonomous Region

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. He Xianglong, 46, is a teacher in Longde County, Guyuan City, Ningxia Autonomous Region. He is highly respected and even received an "Excellent Teacher" award in 2007. On the evening of June 17, 2008, when he was helping with the evening study group in Shatang Town Middle School, police from the Domestic Security Division and the Shatang Town Police Station came to the school and arrested him without showing any legal documents.

Mr. He Xianglong is in charge of two advanced classes in Chinese language and literature, and is also the teacher in charge of one other class. The Wenchuan earthquake came as a tremendous shock to everyone. Mr. He realized that "Heaven's destruction of the CCP" is imminent and knew the importance of people quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its associated organizations in order to be safe. On June 13, 2008, he explained to his students why quitting the CCP and its associated organizations is important to one's safety.

The parents of one student heard what Mr. He told the class and reported him to the police. On the evening of June 17, 2008, officers from the Domestic National Security Division came to the school. They arrested He Xianglong and also ransacked his home at around 11:00 p.m. without presenting a search warrant. They confiscated Falun Gong books and other personal belongings from his home.

Mr. He Xianglong is currently detained in the Longde Detention Center. Authorities refused to allow his family members to see him when they came the next day. As of this writing, they are still not allowing him to see visitors.
