Unusual Recoveries from Lupus and Late Stage Kidney Cancer

I started Falun Dafa cultivation in 1996. Before taking up cultivation practice, I suffered for three years from a rare disease called lupus. It made my life miserable and drove me to utter despair. Red patches appeared on my cheeks and nose. Despite various treatments, severe pain in my joints, intermittent fever, and unusual fatigue forced me to stay in bed. I was unable to take care of myself. Because of my illness, we exhausted all our savings and were struggling to make ends meet.

Seeing my predicament, a neighbor said that the practice of Falun Dafa could help to cure my sickness. I did not want to just wait and die. Without hesitation, I took up the practice. Surprisingly, with no further medication, my condition miraculously improved day by day. Now I can handle all the household chores and have resumed normal work. I owe all of this to Falun Dafa and Master, who not only saved my life but also our whole family.

Now, my life is more relaxing. I just don't know how to thank Master for it. To those who have little or no understanding of Falun Dafa, I would like to tell you this: Falun Dafa can genuinely save people. It is a blessing that all beings have been longing for. Seize the opportunity while you can.

My father is 70 years old and is retired from Qinwangdao City, Qinglung County. On May 13, 2007, he noticed that he was unable to urinate. A CT scan revealed an aggressively growing tumor in his kidney. It was a big blow to the whole family.

Further examination at a hospital in Qinwang that specializes in kidney health confirmed that it was late stage cancer. Two treatments were recommended. The first was to remove the affected kidney, and the second was to undergo chemotherapy treatment. We were in despair and didn't know what to do. Finally, a specialist suggested the more conservative treatment of chemotherapy only. We were told, however, that even if the treatment was "successful," the results would not last for more than six months.

My father's wish was to go home and rest. After coming home, he did one thing which changed the course of his life. Every day, over and over again, Father repeatedly recited, "Falun Dafa is good" and "Zhen-Shan-Ren [Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance] is good." A month later, father's swollen leg miraculously returned to normal. He had relied on medications to control his blood pressure, but now his blood pressure stayed normal without his taking any medicine.

With the facts before us, I can't help feeling sorry for those who have had the opportunity but have disbelieved the power of Falun Dafa. After my father's life and death experience, I now understand better the immense power of Falun Dafa. It was Falun Dafa that saved my father. Please accept my sincere thanks, Teacher Li, for giving Father a second life.
