Persecution Account of Ms. An Lianyu in Mengying, Shandong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) At around 11:00 o'clock on the morning of May 22, 2008, police officers in Mengyin, Shandong's Tanbuzhen Police Department broke into and ransacked Ms. An Lingyu's house, confiscating a laptop, a printer, three satellite dishes, Dafa truth-clarification flyers, and other Dafa-related items. The policemen shoved her into a car and took her to Tanbuzhen Police Department where she was detained for the day. Now she is being illegally detained in Mengyin's prison guard brigade. Ms. An Lingyu, age 40, is a Falun Gong practitioner from Laiwanshi Village in Mengyin, Shandong Province.

In late January 2000, An Lianyu went with about 100 practitioners to validate the Fa. Communist Party agents deceived her into entering the Tanbuzhen government building. Tanbuzhen's Head Director Yuan Junhai, organization member Pan Yushan, Deputy Director Meng Qinglong, and Deputy Secretary Fang Zhenqing personally directed the workers in Tanbuzhen to beat the Falun Gong practitioners. When there weren't enough people beating them, they made offers to riffraff off the street to join in this persecution. Five or six people surrounded a practitioner and beat him or her with wooden batons or belts, grabbing their hair and banging them against a wall. It was a truly ghastly scene.

On December 21, 2000, An Lianyu went to Beijing to appeal for the Fa and was taken to Tanbuzhen Police Department. Then she was put on trial in Tanbuzhen's government compound. The compound director, Pan Yushan, and hit men Zhao Jian, Zhang Jiazhao, and Tian Yongzhong surrounded her and beat and slapped her face with a book and punched and kicked her. They forced her to sit in the garden in winter with her legs out in front of her and didn't allow her to move.

On January 8, 2001, police instructor Yi Yongtao instructed a group of five or six policemen to break into into Ms. An's home and to bring her to Tanbuzhen Police Department to be tied up and tortured. Tanbuzhen Director Wang Duanquan slapped her, and Assistant Director Li Qiangfu forced her to sit in the mud while kicking her and snatching her hair and twisting it in circles. Policeman Yi Yongtao used a rope to whip her, chained her wrists in shackles, and pulled on them. Policeman Yi Yongtao threatened her by saying, "If you don't tell the truth, then we'll strip and hang you to be used as a fan." Another person who works in the Public Security Bureau in Mengyin pulled An Lianyu's hair and threatened her by saying, "If you don't tell the truth, then we'll burn your eyes until you are blind."

The police kept her handcuffed for three days and didn't allow her to get any sleep, but they didn't get the evidence they wanted. Even though they didn't get any evidence, they still tormented her for 15 days.
