Houston, Texas: Practitioners Participate in Alief International Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of August 9, Houston Falun Gong practitioners participated in a parade in the community of Alief. This was the first annual Alief International Parade organized by the Alief Community Association and it attracted more than 40 groups including local schools, newspapers, and companies. Several state and city representatives also attended the parade.

The Falun Gong procession included a giant "Falun Dafa -Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" banner, a waist drum troupe, and a decorated float on which several practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Spectators greeted the practitioners with waves and applause. When passing by the main stage, the host announced: "Falun Gong is Good!"
