Wang Xiaochen in Solitary Confinement at a Detention Center

Falun Gong practitioner Wang Xiaochen from Weifang City, Shandong Province has been held at a detention center for eight months.

Mr. Wang was busy opening a supermarket on October 11, 2007 when several police officers barged in and dragged him into a car. Several other officers committed theft by removing merchandise and cash from the register. The thieves subsequently went to Wang Xiaochen's home and took personal belongings worth approximately 164,600 yuan and held Wang in a detention center later that same day. They also detained his wife for one month.

While he was in detention, the abusers tortured Wang Xiaochen savagely for 26 days. It is learned he is still being tortured, he is physically weak, and his weight has dropped from 95 kg [209 lbs] to 70 kg [154 lbs].
