Exposing the Relocated Huaying City Brainwashing Center in Guangan, Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Numerous Falun Gong practitioners have been arrested since April 2008 and placed in detention centers in the Guangan area, Sichuan Province. Prior to the arrival of the Olympic Torch in Guangan on August 3, 2008, enforcers of the ruling regime dispatched numerous officers in police cars to detain more than 30 practitioners in a brainwashing center located in the Huaying City Tianchi Vocational High School.

Practitioners' efforts to clarify the truth and expose the evil during the past several years alerted the public to the existence of the infamous Armed Forces Department brainwashing center. Officials then rented the vocational high school building to use as a brainwashing center.

The Huaying Armed Forces Department new brainwashing venture was covertly set up in mid-July 2008. Responsible for this decision and carrying it out were the following individuals: Wang Jianjun, Guangan City Party Committee secretary; Fu Qingming, Party secretary and deputy head of the Standing Committee for the City People's Congress; Yu Yi, deputy secretary of the City Party Committee; Qiong Changyong and Su Cuihua, 610 Office heads; Lai Yupu, Political Division head at the Huayin City government; Yu Xiaofu, brainwashing center head; Chen Yunguo; He Chunhuai; and others. They transferred more than 30 practitioners from different detention centers in the area to the new brainwashing center.
