Karmic Retribution for Police Chief Meng Xiangdong and Other Persecutors in Shandong Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic
retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions,
is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic
of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe
will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such
as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated
another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet
due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder
of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who
persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law
requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by
reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution. Karmic retribution for officer Bai Liang from the Heishui Town Police
Department Bai Liang, former deputy head of the Heishui Town Police Station,
orchestrated the arrests of numerous Falun Gong practitioners and instructed
officers to savagely beat the practitioners. He was later promoted to
Yichenggong Township Police Station Chief, where he continued his crimes against
innocent people. On his return trip after contacting and bribing county
government officials in the spring of 2007, he smashed his car into a tree and
died instantly. He was in his early 40s. Karmic retribution for police chief Meng Xiangdong and officer Wang at
the Ling County Police Department Meng Xiangdong, former Qiansun Town Police Station head in Ling County,
Shandong Province followed the Party's orders to persecute Falun Gong since he
took office in July 2007. He encouraged his subordinates Wang and other officers
to set up surveillance spots and arrested Falun Gong practitioners. These
persecutors even searched every household in town looking for Falun Gong
informational materials. They interfered with and sabotaged the practitioners'
efforts to reveal the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution. Meng Xiangdong, led by Ling County 610 Office head Wu Fuguo,
gathered police officers Wang and some others to arrest practitioners Jin
Xinghua and her husband at their home in mid-April of 2008. They also extorted
money and property worth more than 10,000 yuan. Meng Xiangdong and his subordinates came under investigation by the Judiciary
Committee in mid-July 2008 for concealment and sale of illegal firearms. Meng
was suspended from his job and placed under internal investigation. Untimely death - retribution for the 610 Office head in Junbukou Town,
Weicheng District, Weifang City, Shandong Province The person in charge of Junbukou Town's 610 Office in the Weicheng District,
Weifang City was hit from behind. A drunk man on a motorcycle caused the
accident at 11 p.m. on July 26, 2008. Party Secretary Huo was responsible for persecuting Falun Gong. Before the
accident, he had harassed practitioners at their homes and told them to report
to the village Party Committee each morning and evening. He threatened to send
the practitioners to brainwashing centers if they failed to do so for even one
day. The accident happened only a few days after he had made these
announcements. Huo was promoted to Party Secretary for closely following Jiang
Zemin's persecution policies. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, he often slapped the
practitioners' faces with the soles of his hard shoes. Furthermore, the
practitioners were locked in several rooms. He would go from room to room and
slap everyone in every room. The ages of people he targeted with his violence
included people in their 80s and teenagers. After his death, many Party
officials changed their attitude toward Falun Gong practitioners.
